The Closest Thing to Love and Hate

Do I hate or love you?
I have definetly crossed the line,
I've been tricked,
I've been a fool,
I've been filled with anger and hate,
For everyone I know,
I even hate myself,
And put myself down,
How could I have been so stupid?
Why didn't I see this before?
No one loves me,
And no one ever will,
It's not like i've even loved anyone before,
So how could someone love me more,
I'm so confused,
The people who tricked me must be pretty ammused,
For how naive I was,
They noticed it so much,
And they would rub it in my face,
I guess they just love to hear my heartbeat race,
Even though they knew it was only from those lies they made,
I love you,
What a disgusting phrase,
Those lies made me weep for days,
No one will ever stay for me,
When I need it the most,
When I want to hug someone and hold them close,
All I feel is the wind against my cheek,
I think it is my time to go,
Goodbye,I am finally going to leave. |
