I'm fine, i promise

its not what it seems to be, not in the least
what you see is my self-mutilation
what i see is my curse to let myself free of frustrations
it looks a little strange
me in the bathroom, cleaning my knife
you think i want to die? you think i want to take my life?
maybe its the other way around, though
did you ever think about that?.......no
but i promise you, its not what you think
its something i do to help myself
why would i want to die?
do you think that i am that far gone?
no, just stop a minute and listen to me
you will understand where i'm coming from if you would put yourself in my position
at first this was for attention
but when that didnt work, i had to do it to stop the rest
no one pays attention to me, and dont give me bullshit
you say, "maybe its you who doesnt pay attention to others."
i say, "fuck you all, piss on your burning bones."
i dont care what you say, because it wont make a difference
if you could show me, let me expierance
what i'm "missing", then maybe i could believe you
but you cant do that, so why should i listen to a loser like you?
i'm not "emo", i'm not you
i'm not crying for attention, not any more
i've excepted that i'm not going to get what i want
why dont you do the same?
are you afraid of loosing something?
hope, maybe?
give up what little hope you have, it wont turn out how you want
give it all up, just pretend not to care
you know it's not that easy, but try anyway
care what other people feel, but dont let it ruin your life
your life is number one
other people should get used to that, as their minds have the same aspect
they want you to care about them
well they should understand things dont work like that
just keep telling yourself that you are ok
just keep pretending that you dont care
you know you do, deep down inside
we all do, no matter how we seem
we are fine, we promise |
