I might turn you to stone
Don't hold me
Unless you'll call me your own
Don't kiss me
I might bite your lip
Don't touch me
I might prick your fingertip
Don't come to me
Unless you plan to stay
Don't commit to me
If you plan to stray
Don't tell me you love me
Unless you really mean it
Don't say you care
If you'll just treat me like shit
Don't give me your heart
I might end up hurting you
And don't accept mine
If you aren't going to be true
Don't make me cry
Unless you plan on drying my tears
Don't ask me what's wrong
If you don't want to deal with my fears
Don't raise my hopes
If you plan on breaking them down
And don't make me smile
If you plan on making me frown
Don't tell me you'll be there
If you really won't
And don't make me promises
If you won't follow through; just don't |
