candle of hell

you have set it aflame
you've started a war that can't be tamed
the wax drips over the edge and down the side
like the blood that drips off the knife
everything slowly starts melting away
the fire flickers in the mourning breeze
it blazes on forever, burning with ease
the candle will never burn out
just like hell will never end
just like shadows that will always desend
you should have never lit the flame
now the mystery will forever be unnamed |
