Why do you do this to me?
You make me feel like the gum stuck under your designer pumps.
Why do you find my suffering a joke?
Are the scars on my wrist's funny to you?
Do you find my self-hatred a laughing matter?
Why is it when you noticed the slices on my arms, you rolled your eyes and walked away?
You.
You.
Why do you enjoy pushing me lower than I can fathom?
Is it hilarious all those times I've said I wanted help?
Because all you did is treat it like a bad glass of chardonay, you tossed it out.
You, you cause of my pain.
Why is it when I go over to your friends' houses' you seem embarresed by me?
You glance at me like I am a little Hitler.
All I want is to be understood and to have someone to lean on.
But you,
You have pushed me away with your twisted excuses.
And you frowned at me when I needed a shoulder to cry on.
How can you feel okay treating me like this?
Why am I not good enough for you?
Why do you ignore my cries and screams for help?
What happened to the Mom I used to love?
