It'll all be ok

can i really make it all go away?
make it all end, just for a day?
maybe not, maybe yes
i dont care, as long as i try
thats whats making me hold on, though
the thought of it all going away, if only for a day
it'll all be ok, i say to myself
maybe one day, i say to myself
i'll just make it all go away, i say to myself
this is all a story, something in a book
nothing is real, if i only close my eyes
even when they're open it feels like a dream
like i'm not running my own life.
i hate that feeling, but it never goes away
it will eventually go away, though
thats a fact
no matter how long it takes, i'll always go on
if only for one more day
but it'll all be ok, though
and thats a promise i say to myself
thats the one thing that prevents my cutting too deep
even if its on accident. |
