My Double Sided Love

Maybe I will feel something if it is done by someone else
Take me away, sweep me off my feet
Hold me close so I can feel you're body heat
Kiss me, put you're lips against mine
Make me feel like I can fly
Brighten my day, with one simple wink
Make my cheeks blush with a subtle pink
Love me for I don't love myself
Maybe I'll feel something if it is done by someone else
Be with me, make me feel great
Then throw me out to show me it was all fake
Make my heart beat fast when you are near
Then dump me, so the love I loved, now I am able to fear
Give me the laughter that is well heard
Then take away the love, that I must once again yearn
Love me for I don't love myself
Maybe I'll feel something if it is done by someone else |
