To Be Strong

being raped twice, but hold your head up and continue to walk.
to be strong,
putting the knife to your arm, but taking it back and put it away.
to be strong,
losing your dad, but lifting your hand to wipe the tears.
to be strong,
losing your best friend, going on with life.
to be strong,
being beaten by your ex, but standing up to him and no longer fearing him.
this is what it is to be strong,
too bad i am not. |
