» Poem: Sweet Dreams
Sweet Dreams
written by Bootylicous024

Sweet dreams that fade at mornings first light,
An allusion that has swallowed your essence in the night.
Where all your fantasies come to life,
Like a bleeding wound from the blade of a knife.
Conquer your foes, through which you will fight,
Or be saved from the clutches by your one true knight.
From the peak of the mountain and the whitest snow,
To the deepest cavern from which you do not know.
Hideous monsters come forth from the past,
Only to reek revenge on you at last.
Out of nowhere, a florescent glow,
To kill the monsters you have bestowed,
And wake up, as if only a dream
Or should you know it’s not always what it seems
