Truths in Funhouse Mirrors (plz comment)

there is only one truth.
and i hate it.
it tells me that the face in the mirror
is the most beautiful it's ever seen.
and i just want to kill.
i should paint my face red with the blood.
i've even contemplated it.
the truth is so crushingly wrong,
that it fills me with doubt
for the truth of the future.
it's sad really,
and i've been building up this anger inside me
for so long that
when it comes out
it's deadly, a force to be reckoned with.
the mirror is reduced to shards at my feet. |
