Forever You Are Gone

Your essence still remains.
I will always hurt,
My heart won't be the same.
Your lips were like petals
I still can feel your touch.
I loved you with all my heart,
Now I think, maybe even too much.
Our love was like a candle
The flame was strong and bright.
But now the wick is gone,
Our candle gives no light.
I always think about you,
Inside I know it's wrong.
For I have come to realize,
Forever you are gone. |
