» Poem: Without You
Without You
written by nicole_lyndon

I cry myself to sleep each night with tears so cold they burn.
Everyday is another broken heart, when will I learn?
If I only had you here to comfort me; If I hadn't let you go.
Then maybe my smile wouldn't have lost it's beautiful glow.
I can't go on without you because you're what kept my strong.
And I don't understand how I could have let things go so wrong.
If with these words I write, you can't hear my cry.
Please take a closer look and you'll see it in my eyes.
I can be loving and full of life, or just plain and grim.
My heart is an ocean of mystery, but I am willing to let you in.

I really like this. Tell me, was this written on personal experience or just random thoughts? Well done though. ~Kez~
