» Poem: Metallic Taste.
Metallic Taste.
written by untidy_posession

Metallic taste along my lips,
Perplexing thoughts clutter my mind,
Marble floors meet my face,
Stealing my breath away from me,
Festival lights dazzle my eyes,
Apathy consumes me,
Impulse to bring myself to my feet,
Pushed down, my spirit wounded,
Something passes, translucent but obvious,
Misty haze meets my view,
Downpour of hate.
