» Poem: But Only in my Dreams
But Only in my Dreams
written by Gistle
01:02 AM 4/13/05
I see your face and hear your voice,
if only in my sleep.
I feel something beyond joy,
though it is just a happy dream.

Everything I love is there,
in the world when I close my eyes.
And sometimes I think it isn't fair,
that it's only alive at night.

The critisism of others,
is just a faraway bad memory.
I have a father and sisters and brothers,
I have a whole family.

And there it is always raining,
and there the rain is never cold.
And there people fall in love,
and that love never ever gets old.

There is a place where I see you,
and everyone else I miss.
There is the place I can be with you,
and There we share a kiss.

And you hold me There,
and I see you there,
and angels fly on silver wings.

And There I am finally happy, if it is only in my dreams.
