» Poem: Pieces Die and Fade
Pieces Die and Fade
written by chaoticthoughts

Weary heart please beat strong, I cannot make this journey while you are weak
Help me to see, what I can achieve, by just believing
Faithful spirit do not go now, I need you to be there, for me when I doubt
Please do not leave me in the dark again
Empathetic soul do not go, I need you to help me heal, all these wounded souls
Beautiful eyes, do not grow dim, you light up the world when you grin
Comforting smile do not frown, I need here for when I am not so down
With my love I hold great, do not forget, someday you will find a mate
When I leave this earth so big, I hope it's not out of spite, I'm not looking to commit suicide, but sometimes you just can't help but feel you want to die
Pieces of your being break off and fade, but I hope they'll come back another day
