"Friend"

It's been almost a year since we've spoke. Don't know what you think or what you've heard. I wanted to go back at you when you said what you said. I knew it would start a fight. We all know how much you have to be a winner. I've sat back and bit my lip and even now am tempted to bite at you with my words. It's so childish you repeat. "Grow up" you say. Then why am I the one who sits back and doesn't say a word and you are the one with you tierd lying tongue lashing out your haterd. No again that must be me I forgot.
The funny thing about this year without you is how uncomplicated my life has been. The drama lies their from you but I walk over it and continue on my journey. I don't miss you and that hurts more than missing you would. I think at least. We shared almost a decade of so much. Or was it really what I thought it was. I stood by you and was there when no one else was. When I needed you you turned away. No really it's ok. Keeping those old letters you wrote me came in handy.
It's hard to gather how much of friend you weren't to me. I don't sit around weeping or beating your name to a bloody pulp. But you would choose to believe otherwise. As you wish anyway.
I have a new life now one that doesn't include the need for you or your "buds." I don't even know that I could stand to bare the site of you. You know what happened and you know what you did. I don't need to say that. You also know that Karma has this funny little way of coming back when you don't expect it.
