Drifting Away From Friendship
written by chaoticthoughts01:53 PM 4/13/05You're name is Sarah and mine Beth
Of all the friends in the world, we were the best
We were exactly alike, did everything the same
When people were around us, it never was lame
You got kicked out of you're house, and I didn't want to go back to mine
So we just drove around town, having a good time
We were gone for 2 weeks long, to us it didn't seem that long
We did drugs and drank, meet new friends
I thought our friendship would never end
You had to move into you're dad's home
A little while's away
But we both promised our friendship would be okay
Then shortly later I moved too, and that's when we sorta knew
Then I got stuck at the state police, and you came from work, to pick me up, because I was released
I thanked you so much, I didn't know what to say
Once again you saved my ass, you were my hero for that day
Now you have a new boyfriend, and he's cool and all
But when we hang out does he have to be there?
Not trying to be mean, or make you feel bad
But can't we hang out, just the two of us?
Like old times. |
