» Poem: Define Yourself
Define Yourself
written by Scythe42
10:46 PM 4/13/05
Clothes don't define who you are,
People shouldn't define who you are,
Only you define who you are,
For my whole life,
I've been made fun of of what I wear,
It's like everyone pointing out every flaw in you,
It's like someone tearing your soul apart,
And letting it decay into the rotten earth,
Letting someone step on you like a welcome mat,
They try to define who you are,
But they aren't even close,
Because they don't know me,
And they don't know what I bare every day.
