» Poem: The Great Escape
The Great Escape
written by purpleppleater
11:40 PM 4/14/05
The yells echo...
echo in my ears.
Ringing.

I run away...
away from the hate.
Running.

I cry and say...
say listen to me.
Screaming.

You don't listen...
listen to me sob.
Sobbing.

Leave me alone...
alone to vanish.
Fleeing.
