» Poem: Never Enough
Never Enough
written by Gistle
01:21 AM 4/15/05
I've tried to fit in
I've tried to keep up
I've tried to begin
but it's never enough.

I've tried on the clothes
Put on the make-up
I've kept in my woes
and put up with the break-up.
But it's never enough.

I've done everything
that other people do
I've given up on love
but they always knew
It was never enough.

Now I feel so betrayed
but I did this to myself
I let myself be swayed
and I cope with it now.

Don't try and change
don't go with the crowd
let me be your lesson
it's better to be left out.

If I could go back in time
I would stop myself
I'm ashamed of me
it was better to be left out.

Every tear that was shed, allowed me to see.

it isn't enough. It never will be.
