» Poem: Such A Breakable String
Such A Breakable String
written by YouSmileAs_I_Die
03:22 AM 4/15/05
I've felt so much for you, more than you'll ever know

I've clung to them like a child holding his blanket, so afraid to let go

For fear of the dark things that would come to me if it ever left my grasp

But somehow, when ever your little misadventures occur, I'm always the one to know last

Even though I've felt so much for you, I guess it still does not mean a thing

And yet I stay here, with my heart dangling on such a breakable string

Hoping that one day you'll see me the way that I see you and we'll be together

Although it might mean I'll be waiting forever
