» Poem: The day Before I died
The day Before I died
written by --comfortably_numb--

I could wish the seven seas away,
But it would never make you happy..
I could wish for the sun shine brightest around you,
But it would never bring you back,
I could wish for you to love me,
But it just wouldn’t feel right..
I wish I could see your face again,
But it would haunt me forever more,
While I wished all these wishes,
I would be thinking of you,
While I tried to remember your beautiful eyes and your bloody and scared face,
And seeing that sight would haunt me forever,
But I always remember,
You’re the best person inside and out,
So don’t leave me,
Come back to me,
And let me wish more wishes,
For your own sake.
If I had to I’d wish the world away,
Just for us to be alone once more,
I’d wish my self away from you,
If it’s what you really wanted,
But b4 I die or b4 you die,
I want to see your eyes again,
Even if they are so deep and dark,
And before we meet are fates,
I would want to see your face again,
Even if it was always so bloody and scared,
So remember my face when you see me once more,
Because I know I’ll never forget yours...
Now I’ve seen it,
I’m scared as hell,
It was bloody and scared,
And your eyes were even deeper,
Even darker,
And your scars where doubled maybe even tripled,
And I wonder what happened to you,
After all these years,
I’m dying away,
And I thought I’d never see you after our last meeting,
But you came half way across the globe,
And you sat by my side,
On the edge of my bed,
And you whispered in my ear,
That your scars and eyes became deeper as you forgot me,
So that was why I saw you,
The day before I died...
