gone

you left your impression on my lips
you whispered gently in my ear
that we will be together again
you left me sitting alone on my bed
you shut the door and i never saw you again
i called out to you, but you didn't hear
soon i could no longer hear your footsteps
i sat there for hours waiting and hoping
but still you never came back
years later i would always remember you
as the boy who i could no longer hear |
