Words

there are voices in my head.
A rude awakening,
is driving me insane.
You can call it fear,
it can be a nightmare too.
It's more than just words to hear,
it's words tormenting you.
These words they kill,
slowly, they drive out all sanity.
Torturing you till there's nothing left to feel,
until you lose all humanity.
Words that say,
you're to blame.
It's your fault it became this way,
it all happened because you came.
Words that make you feel unwanted,
alone and afraid.
Constantly taunted,
you just wish those words would fade. |
