» Poem: My Lover's Embrace
My Lover's Embrace
written by Gistle
05:42 PM 4/15/05
Holding me in your arms,
feeling soft lips on my face.
There is nothing so sweet,
as a lover's embrace.

Whispering in my ear,
soothing words of your love.
Is this really true,
or something I've made up?

No- I can feel you.
Your warmth all around.
I think I am floating,
for I can't feel the ground.

You're all that I see,
you're all that I hear.
Your're all that I feel,
There is nothing I fear.

Holding me close, holding me tight.
I am happy in my lover's embrace tonight.
