» Poem: No Longer A Baby
No Longer A Baby
written by chaoticthoughts

You are no longer a baby
You are growing up to be a beautiful young lady
Big brown eyes, shining brunette hair, enlightning smile, heart warming laugh
I'm gonna miss you

Memories of holding you in my arms
Making you smile and laugh
Being one of you sole care givers
Those years were my finest
I'm gonna miss you

Teaching you how to crawl, then walk, soon you're running
Lovely little child
I hold you dear to my heart
You are my blood and I love you
I'm gonna miss you

Hugging you're tender little body
Holding you close to my love filled heart
Which only beats for you
And only continues to beat just to see you grow
I'm gonna miss you

I know I hurt you in the past
But let's, let the past be past
I'm here now and it's all real now
I would give my life for you to live
I'm gonna miss you

I'm gonna miss you, when you're grown up and living you're own life
