» Poem: Losing Identities
Losing Identities
written by Scythe42

Everday I stand still in reality,
Not knowing all that lay ahead of me,
Everday I see the same people,
They give me a hard time,
"You should be like everyone else.
You shouldn't be your own self"
they would snicker evily,
"wear the skirts and dresses,be one of the crowd,
Don't ever even try to stand out,"
They would laugh at my individuality,
Even though really in reality,
They are just trying to put me down,
They are just trying to leave me out,
They just want me to be the same,
Even though I'm the only one with an actual name,
Because when everyone's the same in reality,
Everyone ends up losing their own identity.
