Poison runs through my veins,
My body aches with pains.
My mind is filled with memories,
Of the past and what could be.
The soul of which I never saw,
Reminds me of each and every flaw.
The poison begins to attack me,
The pain gets worse,
My heart begins to slow down,
It will soon burst.
The love I thought I knew,
Became a deadly flu.
The heart of you,
Was an infection,
Entering my body,
Confusing me,
Making me think you were good.
The blood rushes from my heart,
It begins to slow down,
Slowly I begin to die,
Just as you planned,
And you watched as the time passed me by.
The pain flows from my veins,
It flows from my heart,
The heart I gave to you.
I gave you all my trust,
I told you about my past,
You kissed me and told me I would be fine.
Instead,
Everything went wrong.
You began to bring it all back,
You began to slowly poison me.
You watched me slowly fade away.
The poison,
Of which you injected,
Is now eating away at the walls of my insides,
Killing me,
Slowly making all life fade away.
The numbness kicks in,
I see you standing in front of me,
You bend down,
To kiss me,
To say your last goodnight,
To tell me it was no use to fight.
My muscles start to cramp,
My heart starts to slow down,
My breath begins to slowly stop,
I silently drown in the poison flooding my veins,
Not feeling any of the pain. |
