» Poem: Hidden truths
Hidden truths

Yet again the sun sets.
The darkness begins to fade,
Another sun shines its rays.
Yet there is no casket.

I see your face,
How your words haunt my soul.
You say you love me,
Yet my true self is incased;
It's one that's scared to show.

You see the half truth,
The bright shining youth.
One who fears nothing,
One who is something.

You don't see my every flaw,
The bruises, the scars, or my family's claws.
Not my perversions,
Not even my bluffs.
I wish that I could show you,
How far I am below you,
If I did would you leave me like the rest?
