» Poem: The Human Shadow
The Human Shadow
written by Scythe42
02:42 AM 4/17/05
Just another pointless day,
Surrounded by gloom and darkness,
A non-existent shadow in the world of humanity,
Copying and reflecting everything it sees,
Just a wandering soul,
Trying to be somebody else,
Trying to steal their soul and kill their heart,
So it will have a life of its own,
Rather than aimlessly seeking a life to behold,
It takes the shape of a human mold,
Seeking that 3 dimensional feeling,
Instead of drifting from tile to tile,
You could actually walk a mile,
You could feel the wind pass by,
And see the glistening sunlight,
You could hear the current of water racing down the river,
And feel the cold rush down your throat,
Everything as it use to be,
No change,no misery,
Wouldn't you love to live again?
