» Poem: Broken Heart
Broken Heart
written by crimsonmoon69

Sitting in a corner
afraid to lift my head,
sitting in a corner
wishing it were dead,
my heart has let me down
when I needed it the most.

I let my heart guide me
when I thought it would pull through,
now it's sitting on the floor
shattered through and through.

As I start to mend,
to pick up all the pieces,
my heart decides to lead the way
as the story starts again.
