» Poem: Never
Never
written by twistedmind33

They say never is an awfully long time
But how can that be
When it didn’t start
There’s no beginning
And no end
To the good
The bad
And all those in between
It’s a void of existence
Something that never was and never will be
Much like when you’re denied of happiness
You can’t feel the emotion
Yet you know it exists
You try to define it
But every time you do,
Failure is only achieved
So just give up trying
Some secrets are better left unsaid

Author's footnotes and comments on this Poem:
Just a heads up, some of the lines here aren't completely orginal. "Never is an awfully long time" comes from Peter Pan and "Some secrets are better left unsaid" I think is lyrics to either a Taking Back Sunday or My Chemical Romance song. Not quite sure where I heard it, just know it's in a song.
