The No More
written by DarkRage07:13 AM 4/17/05Played out in the open plain
The darkness came
Took all in its reign
Blood so red spills from the vein
Legend cemented in the stain
Riddled whispers all so arcane
What was left to retain
Lingers only in utter shame
Followed that which could not be tame
All suffer just the same
Smothered in eternal blame
Deeds done now bound to the slain
World now seem so bane
Nothing could sustain
For what came
Was so vain
Hiding always in the pain
Tied so tightly by the chain
Sounds distant in the rain
Madness surrounding what’s already insane
Barrenness at hand, your inherited gain
Is the secluded cry of the last whooping crane
As nothing survives to remain
All what was lost in the forbidden flame |
