» Poem: Memories
Memories
written by Rogue

Looking back on memories
It was so easy to be mad
For so long
All that wasted time
Just to see where it would lead
Never helped me make it through
Until I was able to let go of you

Silly faces
Kissing poses
Rubbing noses
The way you held my hand
The way I snuggled up to
I think you liked that best

I'm not trying to get this back
I just have to be able to look back
With so more positives
Knowing that all I did give
Seeing what I didn't see then

I wasn't able to make this clear
Don't want the negatives to affect my life
Trying to make this right
