Perfect Yet Fake.

Tears in my eyes
In my eyes they shall remain
I cannot let you see
All the pain your causing me
Slicing your wrists
You say it's your only release
The tears still remain
Behind my blue eyes
Behind the fake smile
Feeling so fucking plastic
Barely even real
I just want to close my eyes
I just want to sleep
Never to awake again
Never to see your face again
I cannot stand looking at your scars
So ugly
So real
I can't stand to see your smile
So perfect
Yet so fake
I remember the night you died
Yes, I finally cried
Tears will never remain in my eyes
Ever again. |
