» Poem: Death Call
Death Call
written by DarkRage
09:09 AM 4/17/05
Under a raven sky
Death will come from the west
To fulfill its destiny
With no other answer
Days pouring into night
Hooves thundering through the dark
Driven by the call echoing through the mind
Names forgotten, only the heart recognizes its soul
Each unique, but all will share their fate
Sunlight offers but a brief reprieve
Death grows closer still
with every passing year and hour
There is no escape
To the final death call
