Why do you turn
Why do you leave
Leaving me all alone
Stay and save me
From myself
Wake up and save me

I see your face fading
Can no longer remember
Memories disappearing like the light
Coldness falls upon me
Like a blanket of ice
Why do you turn

Fears grip me
Holding me prisoner
My heart can not escape
Burdens too heavy; already lost
And forgotten
Dreams call me from a distant place
So weary from my mind
These tears fall from my face
Why do I weep
