Touch your illusion
Hold your dream tight
Not letting go for fear
Of loosing yourself forever
Can you taste the madness
Smell the stench of your decay
The arid drift of your dreams left to rot
From your own discord
Slipping out of this world
Can you hear the silence
Echoes of old shatter your thoughts
Piercing your mind with their words
Hearing the endless nothingness of your tales
Changing what you will never be
Can you see what was
Gaze upon your head
Look into your lifeless eyes
And hold your thoughts that know your heart
Witness what you have brought
