this is what it feels like

when your mind betrays your heart
telling you what you dont want to hear-
your body and soul miles apart
this is what it feels like
to wait for something disappointing
it only brings you heartache
when you expected something anointing
this is what it feels like
to have feelings for someone
to have your feelings fly freely
but in the end they come undone
this is what it feels like
that pain i never wanted to arrive
i tried to make things work out
everyday, Oh how i strive!!
this is what it feels like
to constantly be trying
for something you always wanted
that leaves you to feel like crying
this is what it feels like
when a good thing goes downhill
the sobering heartache
after the initial thrill
this is what it feels like
to feel like this again
please always remember
