Not Just Dead

Spoken from lips to deceive
What we seek
And what is sought
Failing those that were so weak
Strong held fast and still they fought
But could not see
What lay ahead
Within wicked ease
Hunted only to feed
Churned the sky with crimson red
Those that lived are now only dead |
