Too long to feel secure,
Now i really have to try,
To not care for you no more.
You gave a message to my best friends,
You say you rang my phone,
I checked, I have no missed calls,
Can you see why I feel so alone?
I was there when you needed me,
I was there when you cried the most,
You said you loved me and you always would,
That we would always be this close.
I was an idiot, young, nieve,
I didn't love you then,
But, now I do and I wish,
You'd say you love me again.
But I know that you never will,
I've missed my chance,
It can never be you and me,
There will never be romance.
And so this poem I dedicate,
To you, my first true love,
I'll try to forget my memories,
