Gone

now that your gone?
i have no one to kiss away my tears
since you've been gone
and now that you've left
destruction seems to be coming my way
getting stronger and stronger
i wait on the roof of my house
staring at the road
waiting to see your car
and rescue me from this prison
i just sit there, the sun blinding me
and daydream about you coming back
and laying your hands on my shoulders
i think about all the promises you've made
and someway...somehow
begin to think you've broken them
as the tears flutter out of my eyes
i don't even bother to wipe them
because you should be here
and if you were
the tears would'nt be
im not one to break a promise
but the blade in front of me looks so tempting
i pick it up, waiting for you to rip it out of my hands
but you don't
and i won't
because i promised
the wind starts to blow
and somehow i smell your callone
i yell out your name
but you're not there
it's just me
alone,
cuz your gone |
