» Poem: I will love you forever
I will love you forever
written by intearsforever

A smile is not something that ever shown across my face,
It's not some joy I have ever felt,
Though I wish I might someday,
When you are close to me,
And in my arms.

You are all I crave,
I try to replace you,
But it won't work,
Because you are my one and only joy,
My one and only hope,
You're my only way to cope.

But it seems to have been forever since we've been together,
It seems that the vows we said,
Were meant to last,
We thought forever,
But time wouldn't give us that chance.

Time took you away from me,
Time just wouldn't leave me be.
After you left,
Everything went wrong,
I was no longer strong.

You were my everything,
You still are,
But you are just too far.

I want you here,
I want you to take away all my fears.
I want to hold you tight,
And walk off into the dark and lonely night.

But you aren't here,
and I fear,
You never will be,
But I still hope,
That without you,
I will be able to cope.

I love you,
And none of these are untrue.
