» Poem: Black Leafed Clover
Black Leafed Clover
written by perfect.flaws

As she walks in pure daylight
she's clouded with cursed darkness.
Reality has grown farther away from her,
the hate has finally conquered.
Mentally she try's to relate, to those
who are tastefully elate.
In her most imaginative dreams,
she conjures up a cure.

She knows she can't be sure,
when people say the speak the truth.
The broken promises, retold lies,
every hateful word and extanting scream..
covers her pale skin.
Tears no longer fall, she's built up a brick wall.
Emotion's no longer stir within her;
her thoughts now hum a soft purr.
She knows it shall be over,
when she finds the black leafed clover.
