The Pain of Memories
written by intearsforever05:44 AM 4/19/05The pain within,
Is something I don't want,
But somehow it just won't go away.
The tears come when no one looks,
But still I continue to fade away.
You left me here,
In all this despair.
Nothing seems to help,
I don't think this will ever end.
I held each memory of you and I,
Close to my broken heart.
Which you shall always be apart of,
I wish we weren't apart.
There's not a perfect word to describe my pain,
Not one picture to describe this love I have for you.
But still I try,
But I know this pain shall never die.
The vivid memories,
The tainted words I heard,
Were what made me happy,
But now I lye here,
In every fear,
Every fear that you shall never return,
And that our love will forever burn.
I see your face,
It's burned inside my mind,
It's all I see,
When I think of your embrace.
All I wanted,
Was something I could not have,
For this,
I shall remain forever haunted.
By memories,
That are not just temporary,
These memories are left contemporary. |
