» Poem: LIES
LIES
written by DarkRage
06:29 AM 4/19/05
I've set a course
To set myself free
Riding a dead horse
Through the mountains
Sailing an empty ship
Wishing upon magical fountains
Through the lonely seas
Searching in vain
For one who holds the key
To my destiny
Only satisfied with the pain
The miserable truth
Lashes out
From stolen youth
Gone now is the sun
Years have gone and come
Watching dreams fall
Flying through the sky
Riding a dead horse
Through a forbidden course
Under brush and over walls
Slicing through the lies
Hoping someday
This sadness will die
