Diary of a Dreamer

as I am swiftly deviled lest you let me slumber
through till the morn when I shall awaken
alone
let me be
I will come when I'm ready
to the softly mounting dawn
and the spring grass sheds its dew
upon the soiled hands
of misgivings
of misjudgement
intercoursing through the sky
as lightly as spring clouds
shy away
at the breaking light
of desolate mourn
where I shall sleep on through
but don't wake me. |
