I've wished to be pretty
I've wished for death
And I've wished for pity
I've wished for a car
To get the hell out of here
I've wished on a star
In hopes that someone would take away my fears
I've wished for a life
Much better than this
I've wished for love
Just for only a kiss
I've wished for salvation
And recieved only damnation
I've wished for love
Recieved only loss
I've wished for you
At night, I turn and toss |
