If Only We Could...

before we've had our day.
If only we could sail the skies
and touch the clouds today.
I'd climb up every mountain
and hike through foreign lands
But as I pass through thick green grass
my time slips through the sands.
If only we could be there
in every village, every town
The good, the bad,
The sane, the mad
I'd never turn around. |
