Phased for eternity

away from me
I want you to know
that i hope that someday you'll never leave
because my heart is in your grasp
and my soul is trapped
withen your palms
and sometimes its just too hard
to keep my calm.
When all the walls
never go away
will i be able to tell
the difference from night and day?
or will i be
stuck inside this darkness
and from beneath your shadows never leave.
I hope that maybe
sometime i'll see
that we can never be
for thats the way
its supposed to be
and everything will always
be the same.
Even though you took my heart
and you still hold my gaze
I'll never take you apart
and I'll always will and forever be
in this helpless haze. |
